I Spotted a Gen 2!!!

2nd March 2007 (Fri)

Finally, after being here for about a month, I finally spotted a Proton car. So proud =D

The owner said she bought this a few months ago for about $20k. When asked why she chose this car, she said she wanted to be different and unique (there aren't many Australians using Proton). And the best thing was when she said, "Yeah, so far so good (the car's performance)."

To Safuraa,
Haha...i think teh tarik will most probably be next =)

To Mum,
Haha..yeah, perhaps that was the reason she said, "so far so good"

To Danial,
Haha..we shall see..but most probably not. don't think they favour such small cars..

i dun see any proton in melbourne too...u know they always have either one of these under their car plates: 'Victoria-the place to be' or 'Victoria-on the move' or 'Victoria-Garden State'. I wonder why garden state?

To Ling Weng,
Wah. so many perodua-s in Perth ah.. =D

To Khirul,
Yes, it's the same. Hm, i think they do cater for countries as such...but then again, i'm not so sure. interesting to find out.

To Peifei,
Haha..u also no yuen fen with protons and peroduas.don't worry, jessica also haven't seen one yet..haha..hope both of u'll spot one soon =D

To Jessica,
ya ya, this one thing i realised about Aussie cars as well. They always have those interesting captions on their no plate. Canberra: The Heart of the Nation.
Haha..i also dunno why it's called garden state. do they preserve the environment pretty well there?
